With the release of the Starter 2000 version of Giant Octopus on April 24, 2000, The flavortext on Giant Octopus was modified to read: At the sight of the thing the calamari vendor's eyes went wide, but from fear or avarice none could tell.
With the release of the Seventh Edition version of Giant Octopus on April 2, 2001, The flavortext on Giant Octopus was modified to read: The only thing that flows faster than water is fear.
