History Of The Card Aven Flock

Aven Flock was originally released on September 21, 2001 with the release of the Odyssey Magic The Gathering edition. This card has since been reprinted in 3 sets, with the artistry all being drawn by the same artist.

With the release of the Eighth Edition version of Aven Flock on July 28, 2003, The flavortext on Aven Flock was modified to read: Just as each added feather steadies the wing, so does the flock grow stronger with each new member.

With the release of the Ninth Edition version of Aven Flock on July 29, 2005, The text on Aven Flock was altered to say: Flying (This creature can't be blocked except by creatures with flying.)
