History Of The Card Arrest

Arrest was originally released on September 1999 with the release of the Mercadian Masques Magic The Gathering edition. This card has since been reprinted in 2 sets, with 2 artists contributing to the various card designs.

With the release of the Mirrodin version of Arrest on October 2, 2003, The flavortext on Arrest was modified to read: "Unfortunately, it doesn't restrain the beast's smell." —Glissa Sunseeker
