History Of The Card Afflict

Afflict was originally released on September 21, 2001 with the release of the Odyssey Magic The Gathering edition. This card has since been reprinted in 2 sets, with the artistry all being drawn by the same artist.

With the release of the Tenth Edition version of Afflict on July 13, 2007, The flavortext on Afflict was modified to read: One rarely notices a heartbeat, save when it is stolen.
